Background
Old ATIS featured three content types that users could submit: listings, events, and offers. Offers were not displayed on an individual page. They were shown on a list with a thumbnail image, brief description, price, and dates. Despite being popular with a segment of ATIS users, the Offer page represented less than 1% of Consumer website traffic. Offers were not included in the MVP version of new ATIS.
Key messaging for ATIS users:
Our updated ATIS platform was designed based on a combination of user feedback, usage trends from the original platform, and types of listings and information consumers found most helpful. Based on all of this information, the October release of the updated ATIS platform did not include the option to add Offers.
However, the new platform allows tourism operators to provide more detailed information in their listings, ensuring that many Offers from the original platform can be adapted as Product listings. As we move forward from the launch, we are compiling user feedback to ensure ATIS remains a valuable tool to users and have noted your feedback about Offers.
