Every content item in ATIS must have an Admin User associated to it. Currently, some content items are linked to accounts owned by Destination Marketing Organizations. DMOs or other consortia and individuals who provided content originally, but do not actively update, are referred to as Non-active Users.


A priority for agents is to identify when ATIS content requires an account manager that will actively manage the account. If an active user is not listed, the agent will reach out to the business and encourage the proprietor to set up an ATIS account to manage their listing.


In many cases, a content item will have multiple accounts attached to it. If all accounts associated with an item are considered Non-active Users, the Agent will be required to find a contact directly affiliated with the business to encourage ATIS account creation and active management of the account.


Additionally, there are content types that do not require a user account outside of DMOs and consortia listed on the account. These categories and types are outlined in the article ‘Content Types that do not Require Active Users'
